Clastapool, Island City

Clastapool is a large island city in the Orix chain.  It operates almost like an independent nation and controls a large portion of trade that runs through the Wyvern Sea.

Government

Clastapool is run by 12 political parties who are also trading guilds.  These guilds were once formed by their particular assets and interests.  A Fishing guild that caught large sea fish, the Shellfish guild who focused on clams and lobster, The Wood guild that had boats to transport in exotic lumber.  Now though these guilds are bleeding into each other and also absorbing ideas and money from the two large trading companies.  ETC  and HRTC have both set their sights on Clastapool and trying to find a foothold in the political structure keeping the other out.  
The only thing still holding things together is the Administrator herself Chauxhalia of the Depths.  What her intentions for the city are though remain a mystery.

Infrastructure

Taverns:

The Block and Boat - The Block and Boat is owned by a human man named Ullahan Po and his female friend an earth genasi named only Quartz. The Bartender is an elderly male half-orc who is notably average looking. He is often awfully soft-spoken in disposition. His skin is mottled green in color, and he has dull tusks. He has light brown hair, worn in a top-knot style. Physically, he is impressively in shape.
On a typical night, the clientele at The Block and Boat can be described as rather amicable. On this occasion, there are over two dozen other people currently in the tavern. A couple are engaged in a heated debate, while several are sharing tales of past adventures—successes and failures. There are also a few singing a drinking song.
The rooms for rent at The Block and Boat are huge and absolutely pristine. There are currently two rooms available for rent. The cost for a night's stay is 3 gp, 6 sp.
The Shattered Turtle -Owned by a Tortle man named Expedetious Ollo. It is a tavern of the sailors, rogues ,and shipwrights and its main draw is the varied cuisine prepared by a talented chef. The bartender at The Shattered Turtle is a mature female halfling who is incredibly ugly. She is often crude and offensive as she addresses new clients. Her skin is light, and she has turquoise hair, kept in a close-cut style. Physically, she is somewhat chubby. On a typical night, the clientele at The Shattered Turtle can be described as peaceful. On this occasion, there are around twenty other people currently in the tavern. Several patrons are playing a game of dice. A few are watching some performers, and some others are listening to a singer. Seated alone near the bar, there is a paranoid looking figure. They recently lost their home in a fire and are trying to find the arsonist responsible.

Dragon Wing Sail - The tavern for the well off trading company execs and wealthy ship captains this tavern is all polished oak and maple. The booths and chairs are all outfitted with bright red cushions and the glassware is always clean. The owner is a charismatic halfling man with long brown curly hair and a bright red coat with tails named Arculos Goldleaf. Clearly a psuedonym he came up with himself. The bartender most nights are the human woman named Hollie Spruce and the Gnome man who goes by Ingo Telluride. This is also a fake name because he is on the run from the Fletching for theft of important weapons that he is trying to find a buyer for.

Pelanon's Arcane Market - Run by a failed mage who is on the run from the Assembly of the Weave by the name of Rilo Pelanon. His real name is Utipar Panc, a human man from Vellen Falls who failed out of the university there.
