Vorderact Ground Floor Common Room

The players awake in a large comfortable room. Seated around a circular table and wearing nice refinery. Table settings including goblets of clear liquid have been set in front of them. Each player not knowing who they are or what they look like must get a description of themselves from the other players. The large ornate “Common Room” Has warm wooden walls that look to be made of oak. Many comfortable cushioned chairs are placed around wooden tables. A bar can be seen in the corner which is well stocked. Smells of cooking waft through the air which indicate a kitchen near by. A fireplace is against the west wall and has a fire lit within with many thick logs, it looks like it can sustain itself for several hours without much fussing. Paintings and tapestries hang from the walls and ceiling depicting scenes of knights vanquishing monsters and some with monsters vanquishing knights. One painting shows a clock folding in on itself with multi colored lights around it painted as if it was stained glass. Suddenly as the characters look about the room and interact with each other a noise can be heard with a perception check. If high enough a grunt and a muffled scream can be heard coming from above the dance floor. A lower score that player just hears a wooshing sound followed by the crash of a body smashing into the dance floor at high speed. The body hits the wooden parquet floor and blood splatters for several feet

Purpose / Function

The main lobby and spawn point of the Vorderact Hotel.

Architecture

The large common room is a mix of dark oak furniture and marble columns. Lavish and comfortable there are plenty of large soft chairs as well as a beautiful antique table.
