Edits & Such Will Occur After Summer Camp Ceremony On August 26th

Since the fall of the Worldgate, strange events began occurring in the town; unfamiliar creatures roamed, the architecture changed, and screams phased in and out of existence. The strangest event, however, occurs every couple decades on the Night of a Thousand Stars.
During these starfalls, occupants and all loose items inside random houses disappear.
To date, neither the Clearsparks nor Whispershadows have been able to ascertain the destination of these disappearances.
It is believed that magical energy from the celestial event paired with the remnants of natural portals have provided the town with enough power to teleport people to other locations.
However, as the portals in Grimgate became incredibly unstable after the Magic Implosion, anyone who disappears in this way is believed to be dead.

Manifestation

The sun has set on the once-metropolis, now-hamlet. The southern forest waits with bated breath for this night to pass. Neither prey nor predator dares move tonight.
To the north, the midnight sky hums with a flourescent glow. The night's normal shade of darkness faintly illuminated by an unsleeping sky.
In Grimgate, every flame is extinguished. The families who remain, gather in front of the highest window in their home.
Small faces pressed against the glass waiting for stars to paint the sky. Larger faces solemnly look to the cobblestone streets, waiting for unknown creatures to appear.
In the sky, a single yellow star falls. Then, another. Then, a teal star falls. Then, a pink.
Soon, a rainbow of lights flood the sky. The colors dancing together, creating an impossibly beautiful display of celestial wonder.
The moment of awe is cut short. A deep thud hits the pavement. Then, another. And so on.
Looking down, Creatures of unusual size and demeanor appear; Some curious; others raising chaos and destruction.
A hum floods Grimgate. Rainbows of light pour out the windows of random houses. By morning, nothing remains in those houses but scorch marks and scratches along the wall.
