Elite Fighters' Unit

The Elite Fighter's Unit (EFU) is yet another organization created during Craei Grecofoxas's rise to power.  The public agenda in the EFU's creation was to eliminate the magical forces attacking Orie Country on Shaca's southern border.  These forces are believed to be The Claw Continent; however, its source has yet to be found.  To honor Grecofoxas before he passed, The Grecodar rank was created so the presiding ruler may always have counsel on magical affairs.  While the Grecodar is not the EFU's commanding officer, they do have substantial sway in the EFU's operations.
The EFU gets called into action on a moment's notice to deal with magical threats that are too powerful for the standard militia to handle.  As such, they spend a large portion of their time training for war.  When new weapons have been tested by the Asmain scientists, they are brought to the training camps.  Twenty-Five fighters at a time are requested to further test the equipment on dummies placed in an open plot of land and provide feedback.

The Elite Fighters' Unit (EFU) has no more than 150 soldiers at a time; however, they are the best fighters in Orie Country. To join the EFU, a ranking officer must recommend someone who has risen above the rest during training or in combat for the standard militia when positions become available.

Equipment

The EFU has a steady supply of the latest technological tools created by the Asmain scientists, including anti-magic crimstone-steel traps.  Spider silk nets that can detect magic have also been provided for the EFU.  When near magical sources, these nets begin to glow.

Weaponry

All weapons and armor have been treated with crimstone, a known magic insulator. As such, the EFU has resistances against many magic attacks; however, research is still being done to protect soldiers from enchantments.

Note: While uncommon knowledge outside the Order of the Grecodar, Craei Grecofoxas sought power and nothing more. He found that power within magic and brought few people into the fold.  While there is no found evidence of Grecofoxas or any Grecodar aiding the magical forces attacking the Shacan border, it certainly has served to benefit their positions.
