Magical Battery

A vault lies beneath Asmain. Here, a century's worth of magical batteries is produced and stored under lock and key. These batteries are known only by The Grecodar and a small portion of the Order of the Grecodar. Even the country's leader does not know of its existence. The knowledge of such a location would be viewed as an act of treason, especially with the War on Magic still in progress.

Discovery

After the Great Magic Implosion, Craei Grecofoxas worked alongside Asmain scientists to harness filtered magic. Around 1152 CD, Grecofoxas and the team of scientists created a magical battery. The stored energy worked as long as the magic could not interact with energies outside the container.   Crimstone steel treated with 1 part chemiluminescent oils found in Borealis Cat paw prints and 1,000 parts Orie goats milk appeared to be a viable solution. Magic stored in this way held no noticeable expiration date.   The steel could be created from the materials harvested from the Mountain Range, causing the mining industry to boom. Due to the dangers found in the region, the Compendium of Minerals & Ores was created. For Grecofoxas to cover his tracks, he managed two teams of highly specialized researchers: medical scientists to protect the miners and military weapon masters to cover the need for constant new materials. The medical team sought cures for diseases affecting miners in the Mountain Range like Miners Pox and Suggestium. Meanwhile, the military researchers devised new weapons for combat.   The work done by Craei Grecofoxas caught the attention of the Bemere Tramaer, the ruler of Orie Country. When magical forces began attacking the nations pass to the rest of the world, Tramaer looked to Grecofoxas for advice. The War on Magic begun in 1155 CD.   The loyalties Grecofoxas bought for his scientists lead to the Order of the Grecodar. None spoke against Grecofoxas for fear of being labeled a Mage and traitor of the country.
