Serpent Headwrap of Arcanesight

Caution: This article contains spoilers for Tarantellia. After the awards ceremony, it will most likely be made private and revised. Either read while you can or avoid this article altogether.
When Jhen Whispershadow was summoned to the Ruins of Kahlizon, she acquired two items of great importance: the Serpent Headwrap of Arcanesight and the Serpent Headwrap of Falsesight. Each artifact was still intact all these millennia later.

Appearance

The Serpent Headwrap of Arcanesight initially appears as a large piece of shed serpent's skin. When looking closely at the artifact, the scales appear painted with iridescent pigments. The shimmers subtly from a green-toned white to a blue-toned white and finally to a purple-toned white. Not every scale is painted but the ones that are seem to dance in the light.   When held, the headwrap is surprisingly flexible. It feels sturdy like leather and soft like cotton. When worn, it fits softly across the eyes.

Function

While wearing the Serpent Headwrap of Arcanesight, your vision of the world around you softens.   If attuned, you gain arcanesight, the ability to see the magic flowing through objects in the world around you. Given practice, you can soon understand the subtle differences in appearance between the types of magic.   Additionally, you gain bloodsight, the ability to see the innate magical power of living creatures with blood or another liquid coursing through their bodies. The more innate or cultivated power a magic user wields, the richer and more intense the bloodsight appears. Please note, this affect may be temporarily blinding on a low-level magic user when looking at a master or legendary magic user. For high-level magic users, only deities blind the individual.   The final known benefit of the Serpent Headwrap of Arcanesight, it provides immunity to manicsight, a condition that causes different schools of magic to fluctuate in appearance.   For most Arcane Seers, manicsight is effectively blinding and can cause deadly mistakes to happen fast. When affected by manicsight, the only way to move forward is finding safety, remaining still, and waiting for it to pass. Immunity to this effects is a massive boon.
