Webbed Temple
Deep in the Webbed Forest lies a moss and vine encased temple. Abandoned for the greater part of a century, spindly and slithering creatures alike call the Webbed Temple home.
The temple itself is rumored to be touched by the Hollow. Those who dare approach are met with the expectation of impending doom. With every step deeper into the temple, I could feel my body shutting down. My limbs seemed to carry the weight of my sins. There was a fear reaching out around the edges of my consciousness. Preying on my memories and feasting on my mistakes.
Malmi’s Fountain
The desperate and curious seek the Webbed Temple, sometimes called Malmi’s Temple, for the healing fountain found deep within. It's said that the fountain can heal suffering. Sickness. Physical pain. Broken heart. Mental Anguish. Spiritual Turmoil. The difficulties accessing Malmi's Fountain are often considered The Trials of the Worthy. Beyond the standard encounters that come with adventure, the Webbed Temple brings suffering to the forefront before the healing can begin. The snakes and spiders are often in opposition to one another, each vying for control of the temple and its surroundings. People and creatures with arcanesight can see a magical difference between each species of snake and spider. Here, the spider species exist in a variety of sizes, colors, and shapes. All species are eight-legged and spindly; however, the local magic affected each species differently. The sizes range from miniscule to towering over most wildlife in the Webbed Forest. Some of the spiders glow while others have a plain appearance. There are spiders that can camouflage to look like leaves or appear scaled. While none of the snakes tower over the temple, there are a large assortment in these woods. These slithering reptiles have many different patterns.
