Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon

Domain: God of Honor and Justice

Bahamut is the foundation of justice, protection, nobility, and honor. The Platinum Dragon is revered by most metallic dragons, as he was the first of their kind. He used part of his being to shape the original metallic dragons in Taridad’s earliest days. Bahamut adorns halls of high leadership and courts of judgment. Rulers, judges, and paladins invoke his name for guidance in manners of morality.

Physical Description

Bahamut’s honorary name, the Platinum Dragon, is more literal than most gods. The lawful third of the Triad is depicted as a massive glittering dragon with vibrant platinum scales and immense wings fading into etherealness. His image has been emblazoned on many shields and armor across Taridad since its birth.

The Ever Remembrance

The Ever Remembrance is celebrated on Cuescar 15. It is a day of remembrance, solemnity, and respect for those who have fallen in defense of others. Many clerics and paladins are joined by adventurers on this holy day. In Noyatu, there has been a surge in participation following the War of the Five Nations.

Tales and Myths

The Divine Exile

Scalebearer records assert that Bahamut and Kruphix descended upon Calimport at the end of the Divine Crisis. They spoke that the Prime Deities would lock the Dark Sovereigns in the Lower Planes and that they would erect the Horizon Gate. This would forever separate the gods from ever directly acting or maifesting upon Taridad. This action shocked the other Prime Deities and mortal survivors of the Crisis. The mortals rallied against the decision, but this only showed the other gods that this action was unimpeachable and just.
