Cults of the Ascended

Though they have long since left our materium for the Aether, the Ascended still keep their watch over us always, and if one does not truly believe, one need only look to the power of priests and priestesses whom are so blessed with their chosen hero's favor. Prayer magick, the only magick truly safe from the Abyssal taint. So long as your faith is ironclad, you shall fear no Daemon, and risk no taint. These are the caretakers, the doctors, the educators of society, as well as the first and frontline magi of choice in most armies. Each priest is different, and they may bicker as to which Ascended should be followed, and the merits of some of their rivals beliefs and tenets. But ultimately they unite and agree on one thing, fully, across all borders real, religious or otherwise. Cleanse the unclean. Burn the heretic. Purge the Abyss.
