The party first met Frederick underneath the Tresendar Manor in the barracks room. They put him to sleep and bound him. He was then arrested and detained in a cell in Ashmoor. During a prison transfer to Fallbrook, Fred's caravan was overturned after being attacked by a beast. He and his companions escaped.
