Ashmoor

Ashmoor is a small settlement near the Sacred Portal, south of Fallbrook and north of Morelaine in the country of Lunaire . It is also halfway on the road between Kip and Dimminshtian.

Government

It is mostly controlled by Fallbrook as it technically falls under its domain but Ashmoor is trying to gain traction and acknowledgement as its own city. The townsfolk elect a representative to be their Townmaster, and currently the position is held by Harbin Wester.

Industry & Trade

Alderleaf Farm is the largest farm here and grows a variety of crops. Edermath Orchard exports both apples and mead to the surrounding regions. Most travelers will stop at Lionshield Coster for supplies.

Guilds and Factions

While the Adventurer's Guild does not have an official office here, there is a posting board for quests that Erica Lee supplies by riding here periodically.

History

After The Civil War, many travelers between Fallbrook , Morelaine , Kip and Dimminshtian needed somewhere to stay on their journeys, and eventually set up semi-permanent camps. Merchants heard of the business opportunities here and created a small market. Eventually these structures became the permanent settlement of Ashmoor.

Tourism

Those traveling the Ni'hem Highroad between Morelaine and Fallbrook will often stop at the Shrine of Luck on their way through town.

Architecture

Ruins of a long-forgotten settlement surround the outskirts of the city. Opportunists after the War thought that they may provide some protection. The buildings in town are made of wood, with thatched roofs.

Geography

Ashmoor is nestled in a valley on the east side of the Atoya River, on the edges of the Blackbark Woods, between Morelaine and Fallbrook in Lunaire.
