Laurelmont

Laurelmont is a small hamlet on the border of Srendell in the country of Lunaire. It is about half a day's journey south of the Westfield ruins.

Mixture of human and elf population, with a notable percentage of halflings.

Government

There is no formal government in Laurelmont as it is technically part of Kip. The city of Kip won't acknowledge Laurelmont as an official city, so it continues to fall under Kip's jurisdicion and leadership.

Kol Swiftstrike is looked up to as a local leader, as he and his family were some of the first settlers in the area.

Industry & Trade

A small popup market helps the local traders sell goods to travelers on the road.

History

Laurelmont was mainly founded by a group of families separated by the Srendell border. They wanted a way to see their Mynesari relatives without crossing the border and going through the extensive vetting process of getting a visa.

Geography

Laurelmont is located at a crossroads in the Gafbel region of Lunaire. It is nestled on the Srendell border and is northwest of the populous city of Kip. It is also just to the north of the Gafbel Woods.
