Ulric Duststone is a man that the party met in Laurelmont in the halfling-owned vegetarian bar called The Twig and Berries. He had been drinking alone when Kell approached him, after having noticed his uniform.

Personal history
Ulric worked for the Port Town City Guard prior to the events of the Town Hall Fire. He told Kell that he sailed out of town on a ship alongside Horgul Whitroar and "a wizard", but that he fled the group once they docked in Kip.
He is currently being accompanied home by Orth Swiftstrike.
