Thantherian Styvalhyme
Forespeaker
Raised in exile, his heritage a secret from even his own people, Thantherian was barely a century old when he began his quest to free the Soulmeliti from Elynthi occupation. His many adventures took him far across Tarien and indebted him to many nobles along the way. His only currency at the time, gratitude, became a think of legend as he dutifully recorded those who gave him aid on the List of the Thanked.
After finally evicting the Elynthi, Thantherian took his rightful place as Forestspeaker. His rule has not been one without controversy as many in the Forests felt that his family had done enough harm over the years to warrant a change. Others simply felt he was too young. Opposition has grown over the intervening decades and he narrowly averted a vote of no confidence from the other great families, led by the Roen'shai Family, once among the Styvalhymes staunchest supports, by re-opening the forests to trade. The move swung popular opinion back in his favor and he now sits more comfortably on the throne.
