Charging

The act of focusing one's will to pull Maiga from the environment or one's self and put it into a Charge for later use. All sentient beings are capable of charging, and variations of the technique have been observed through all of recorded history. Charging typically takes the form of holding a charge and either meditating or passively minding the flow of Maiga to the charge. A stronger focus on and/or natural aptitude for Maiga manipulation can lead to faster charging, with Shapers finding the task as simple as breathing.
