Districts of Maan
The Pebbler’s Promenade (The Market District): Found in the Northern section of the city, the Pebbler’s Promenade is filled with mostly stalls that have a variety of goods. Most of the goods found here are foods, travel gear, and trade materials. Maan is a city known for its raw materials. Shops of note in this section are: Trader Toms', The Green Goliath, and Pam's Pick.
Faerie’s Hollow (“Red Light" District): Located in the Western Section of Maan. This district is tucked into the darker and shadier parts of the city. During the day only the locals drink at the many bars and gambling dens located in this area. But come night time this district is alive with activity. Pleasure Dens, Gambling Holds, Bars, Inns, etc...can be found within this district.
Sedetta’s Footpath (Temple District): Temples and Shrines to Seto, Sedetta, Mare, and Vis are all found here. The two largest temples are Seto and Sedetta’s. Mare and Vis have smaller shrines.
The Glade (Nobles District): The Noble's district is located in the center of Maan. Though called, "The Farming Nobles" the noble families of Maan are considered to be more down to earth and less pompous than many nobles from other cities. Their houses are large, but made of sturdy materials all gathered from the regions around Maan. The Four Families are Ross, Whitby, Dryleaf, and Smithfield.
Mare’s Hall (Tiefling District): A small tiefling community that works the farm fields of Maan. They are completely self reliant in their little community. This community is the smallest tiefling district in Tartartis. They only have about fifty tieflings living here. Many of the tieflings in the city of Maan walk around with little to no face/head coverings. They are too hot to work in.
The Cross Roads (The Guild District): In this section of the city the Meglers' Guild has the largest building of operations followed closely by the Jagerflies. The Bandetti do have a headquarters here, but it is small and many entertainers such as bards, poets, vestifiers, etc...stay there. The Sages Guildhall is also very small. Not many Sages want to come to Maan to study, though a few do use the Guildhall as a stopping point before heading into the Ice Capped mountains to the north.
