Khyber the Primordial Serpent and Syberis the Solar, fight over creation. Syberis binds Khyber, but is gravely wounded. He retreats and leaves behind the Gods to watch over and shape creation.

Syberis the Solar, began to arrange the cosmos to his vision, scribing the great Weave, a framework for all that was, and all that will be; creating the laws of physics and subduing the chaos. Khyber did not like the changes and attacked Syberis. The two fought, but neither emerged victorious. In the end Syberis, gravely wounded, bound Khyber using the Weave. He retreated to his Golden City leaving behind his children, the Gods, to shape and protect his creation, and to ensure the seals that keep Khyber bound do not waver.
