In the beginning there was only the Void, it was dark, cold, dead, still, and in perfect order. Then came the Solars and lit the great flames and with them came light, heat, life, motion, and chaos. And thus the universe began, it has since caused a lot of problems and been widely regarded as a bad move.
In the beginning there was nothing but the Void, cold, dark, empty, and dead. Syberis the Solar lit the stars which brought with them heat, light, life, and chaos. The young universe was raw, chaotic, and unstable soup of elemental matter which was endlessly created, destroyed, and transformed with no rhyme or reason. The laws of physics did not exist, time and space was not yet a concept. In this soup of energy the vast primordial serpent arose: Khyber, elemental chaos given will.

Gods shape creation, but the bound Khyber spews out Dæmon hordes to return Creation to it's primordial state beginning the first conflict.
The spawn of Khyber emerge from the depths attempting to return the universe to it's primordial state.
The Gods strike against the spawn of Khyber, to further their war efforts they create the perfect soldiers, the Titans. The war lasts for millennia.
The Gods turn to desperation in the face of the dæmon horde. Creating the last of their Pantheon; the Slayer, the Shadow, and the Lady to push back the tide.
Terrible things slips into creation from the place mortals were not meant to know through the hole torn apart by the birth of the Shadow. They take up residence in the primordial seas and depths of Tartarus.
