Allvandrian Nomad

"What great nasty teeth you have!" - Dwarven Wanderer upon encountering an angry bull

While many herbivores grew long tusks, large sizes, or sharp tails to defend themselves, the Nomad grew the presence of a predator. A powerfully muscular body with enough force to throw over a small dragon, and teeth and jaws that could crush a humanoid in two without a second thought. Certainly not the biggest creature in any list, but nothing to scoff at in terms of power and aggression on the herbivore scale.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Strong and brawny builds situated upon four limbs, the hind of which can act as a support for a small few moments while the forelimbs reach and grasp under the snow or up tall trees.

Biological Traits

Average lifespan for a creature of the size. Fairly heavily built and sticking to a herd gives them a bit of intelligence for a beastly creature, but nothing in comparison to some others upon the list.

Growth Rate & Stages

Quick grow rate to a younger stage, where it slows down to fill out the form over many years.

Ecology and Habitats

Nomads dominate the tundra in which they are named after. They are a secondary food source for Sval tribes between the other large roaming beasts there.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Herbivores. The large teeth within their jaws are mostly for defense, the true grinding teeth needed for plant-life lie in the back of their jawline.

Biological Cycle

Active during what light exists during the day, and huddle together in the evening hours in the herd.
