Kalvena

The frozen lands of the north. Stretching upwards past the great Dras'Kelon and the remnants of the First Kla'tani Empire, the cold northern areas of the globe are often shrouded and secluded away from the world. Many tribes, civilizations, groups, and even world-ending cults live within the cold landscapes and even above them on frozen landmasses.

Geography

Curling around the top of the eastern continent, the shorter landmass rests upon the top of the world further north than Aldaria. Colder and harsher, but definitely lacking the volcanoes, it makes up for it with the huge rolling sheets of ice, snow-capped mountains, and large triangular forests that cover the landscape in great numbers.

Fauna & Flora

The flora within the area is tough and hardy. Though in different ways. The trees and plants here have adapted to the colder and lower sunlight environment. Some are even able to grow underground in certain conditions and spread outwards over the terrain in vast green belts and chains that create great forests many cultures revere and worship.    The creatures here hold similar hardy values. A lower number of reptiles due to the cold nature of the area, giving the rise to much more powerful mammals and even holding them as apex predators in certain areas, aside from a few dragons here and there. The creatures here have all adapted to life in the cold landscape, and seem to embody the harsh spirit.

Natural Resources

Normal resources here are easy to find, but many of the civilizations in the north do not bother with them. Most with their weapons and armor use natural items harvested from other creatures, most of the time. The biggest export of the area from the ports along the western edge is the lumber from the dragonshide trees, which is tougher than even some metals.
