Deathhoof

Some creatures of the world are praised and loved for their nuturing ways and their companionship, and even their ability to forge empires, there are always dark portions of the world that hold a dark mirror. Aptly named as the deathhoof, these horses are a product of the abyssal plane reaching through the boundaries and tearing and twisting these magnificent creatures to something...carnivorous. With unmatched speed on the ground, these creatures do not run from predators, they are the predators. With sharp teeth embedded behind the jaws, these animals can strike down, or simply run down and leave a foe tired on the floor in the long plains where they hail from.
