Dras'kelon

The brutality of the abuse of magic embodied. This desert spans for thousands of miles in many directions and covers over half of Falvona. The shifting sands and harsh weather move with the wind over the area creating an in-climate lifestyle for most beings and creatures living here other than the hardiest of souls. The resting place for the once great First Kla'tani Empire, spotted ruins of buildings poke up every so often from small cracks in the sand that show remnants of the once great civilization.

Geography

Not much general topography changes despite the massive and encumbering size of the beast of a desert. Winding and shifting for many miles, the dunes and sand here are as numerous as countless stars in the sky. Great mysteries and technologies lie buried within that draw treasure hunters. But equally as many hardy creatures await those foolish enough to try and trek through the dangerous landscape.

Fauna & Flora

Flora is virtually nil on the surface. There are a few hardy bushes that remain idle for many years that can survive on very limited rainfall that sweeps through every so often. But most of the plant life is a couple feet below the surface where some water from below can bubble up from every now and then.
The creatures here are varied, albeit small in number. Hardy burrowing reptiles, mammals, and even a couple species of dragon and dinosaur frequent the area, among other hidden horrors.

Natural Resources

Many natural resources were plundered in the previous empire, but much of their ruins include these very same materials in crafted form rather than raw materials, making it a great place for explorers and treasure hunters.
