Mordred

One of Killian's ancestors was a great dragon. He inherited a talent for sorcery and dragon magic. Killian appears to be a normal human until he calls upon his dragon blood, at which point dragon horns appear on his head, his hands grow claws, his eyes change and begin to glow, and fine scales appear on his body.
Killian is under the tutelage of the True Magicians. He was given his hero name, Mordred, by the witch Morgause, who has taken a special interest in Killian's development as a sorcerer, treating him almost as a surrogate son.
