She sought out Doctor Darwin, a “supervillain” who hoped to “evolve” his subjects so they could reach their true potential. Layla’s treatment gave her superior night vision, strength, leaping and agility, swimming, claws and a prehensile tail. Her chimeric flesh is resistant to damage and heals very quickly.
