Aasimar
Appearance
Aasimar in the realm of Exandria have a mostly human appearance augmented by celestial-adjacent properties that give them a distinctly otherworldly apperance. The skin of an Aasimar, though similar in tone to that of their birth parents just like most humans, possesses a slight tint in color (silver, blue, red, etc) similar to those of angels as well as a subtle glow from beneath their skin. Their pupils may share a hue with their irises, but the magnitude of this effect varies wildly between individuals, ranging from a subtle and almost unnoticeable tint at the center of an Aasimar's barely glowing eyes to an effect creating the appearance of a complete lack of pupils. Their hair tends to keep itself naturally free of tangles or fraying as well as possess a notable sheen, though it still can be cut or damaged as with any other mortal being. The natural glow of an Aasimar does not produce light on its own, only magnifying the light naturally present in the area; in complete darkness, an Aasimar is as hard to see as any other creature.Subraces
