Personal history

Nixali of Den Lysareyth   Born in a cult room, lived in Den Lysareyth's house growing up. During birth, Varis was nearby performing some kind of ritual to Oleanna, and some stray magic struck Nixali as a baby. Varis felt guilty and has acted as another parent ever since. Nixali remembers nothing of it. Young adulthood lead to Nixali working for her Den, keeping the Kryn Dynasty moving forward positively with her fathers. She has a basic knowledge of the Luxon and other religions from Hadarai, and a basic knowledge of trading goods for money from Erevan, and has generally lived a comfortable middle/upper class life.   When bringing home goods from town, Nixali met an orc lady named Shautha slinking around the shadows of her home. Shautha was surprised to be found, but the two became fast friends and Shautha taught Nixali a few of her techniques over the following years. Shautha shared knowledge of blades, remaining hidden, taking items and ways to exploit weaknesses. Nixali caught on quickly, much more than when she was taught skills from her fathers, and she began to steal a few extras here and there, hopefully elevating Den Lysareyth's power in the Dynasty. Shautha never explained why she was lingering near Den Lysareyth.   On Nixali's final day in Rosohna, she caught Azaki and Thiala in Den Lysareyth working with some kind of ancient religious devices and undergoing some spellcasting that Nixali didn't understand. Thiala tried to scare Nixali away in combat using some spells, but Nixali's blade and mobility skills from Shautha came in clutch as Thiala was left wounded. Azaki explained that if word got out of what happened here, Den Lysareyth's name would be tarnished, and it was up to Nixali to leave and preserve it. Nixali wasn't sure, so she decided to leave in exile but also steal one of the religious items on her escape.   That night after leaving, Nixali was met in a dream by an aquatic feminine figure who offered power with no apparent downside. Nixali wasn't sure who it was, or what purpose they had for offering the power. She awakened with an otter sleeping next to her who introduced herself as Courtney, and the item she stole from her Den was gone. Nixali continued to sneak west, hoping to preserve her family name, but feeling unsure whether she was doing the right thing or not. She headed south to Xarzith Kitril, boarding a ship to Nicodranas (/that area).
