Government: Siyil Vral Kazrod (he/him) holds dominion over the town and the surrounding communities, delegating absolute control to governors of large districts and surrounding lands. He often finds himself at odds with the ruling council and Il-Yannah Aknezak within the city, preferring to prioritize the good of the region, viewed in terms of economic prosperity and the respect of his governors, to the good of the nation as a whole.
Defense: A large coalition of Altasur is stationed in and around the capital, serving as a substantial defense force in case of incursion from the Wanderman Assembly. In addition, many noble families within Rilvallen maintain their own private guards, often hiring non-noble families generation after generation to serve in this role.
Commerce: Due to its multicultural and central nature, goods from all over the eastern Shattered Teeth pass through Rilvallen. In addition, its size makes it a target for organized criminal activity and smuggling, though crackdowns keep underground commerce quiet and secretive.
Organizations: Representatives from every city-state within the Ossended Host reside within Rilvallen, all contributing to the politics of the city and the nation as a whole. At the same time, the historically Hobgoblin populace maintains its own culture and social structure alongside these groups.
