The Drunken Dragon
The easternmost tavern in Deastok, The Drunken Dragon serves up an appropriately middling level of service, offering modest rooms and food for a modest price. It's owned by a pair of halfling twins, Barver and Anyver, both in their mid-40s with a tendency to get drunk along with their customers and join in the celebrations. Both have short but wavy chestnut-brown hair that ends in a bit of a cowlick in the front and wear constant smiles unless they're not drinking.
Pricing
A room is 5 sp and comes with dinner as long as you buy yourself a drink. There are also often rooms with 2 beds available running about 8 sp each. The Drunken Dragon serves pretty cheap ale (4 cp per mug) and wine (2 sp for a pitcher) as well as its own specialty that it calls Dragonsbreath: a shot of high-proof moonshine mixed with the crushed seeds of a local hot pepper grown in the foothills of the mountains. That'll run you about a silver a shot. Other than rooms and drinks, the place serves eggs with chopped sweet peppers for breakfast for 3 cp a serving, though some may want a second helping with the smaller-than-average portion sizes. You can also always order a freshly baked meat-and-potato pie from the back if you want more than the bowl of stewed-all-day meat and veggies they serve as standard, 8 cp for a small one.
