Bravos

Bravos is the Imperial God of Merchant and Sailors, the patron of all those who keep the blood of commerce flowing in the Imperial lands. Bravos himself is a silent god, believing that the tenants of his faith (free trade and the encouragement of all kinds of commerce) are sufficient to accomplish his goals without direct interference. His priests, by contrast, are some of the busiest and most involved in day-to-day life of all the clerics of the Imperial Faith. In the old days of the Empire they ran a complex network of instantaneous magical communications across the entire Kaimundian Empire, and those not dedicating themselves to this purpose provided business advice, made connections between traders, and served aboard trading ships plying the Secret Sea and the Endless Ocean.
After the Flickering, they adapted, helping to build the network of fast-riding messengers that replaced the magical communications of the Imperial Era. They served as envoys on behalf of commerce to the princelings that sprung up after the fall of the Empire, encouraging them to co-operate to the extent required to re-establish free trade and rapid communication as swiftly as possible. With the Return, they have worked to re-establish their old communication network, and use their newfound powers to protect the ships and caravans of merchants of Kain, Kaivan and Ramundia.
