Druma

Druma, known as the Green Mother, is an ancient deity revered all across the plains of Ramundia. In ancient times, her druids were free to travel among the tribes and cities of the plains as they pleased, respected and revered by all. Of all the gods approached by Kain, Druma was the most powerful. There are conflicting stories about why he approached her - some say Kain simply believed that stewardship of the natural world was the duty of his empire, while other say he feared her wrath if she was not properly respected. Druma is the goddess of the cycle of life and death, revered especially in the Imperial pantheon as a goddess of plants and healing, as well as the goddess most frequently prayed to at funerals.
In addition to the clerics that serve her in temples around the old Empire, Druma is served by druids known as the Green Circle of Druma. The Green Circle protects the wild places of the world, and often clashed with Imperial forces when they sought to expand into less populated regions. The most sacred place to the Green Circle is the Uruken Swamp, as its incredible biodiversity is unrivalled anywhere else in Teldaris.
