Geron

Geron is the Imperial god of duty and justice. His worshippers include judges, watchmen and soldiers. While he often works alongside Davos, there's also a tension there, as Geron and his followers find the excesses of Davos distasteful and think their prejudices result in injustice as often as anything else. Geron is not an interesting god, and indeed this is rather the point - he's the god of those who devote themselves to doing difficult jobs without fear or favour, with neither passion nor cowardice. His followers believe that the law must apply equally to all, or it means nothing.   He is also often prayed to by those fearful of some danger, who invoke his name in hopes of receiving his protection. His clerics serve as confidants of noblemen and judges, advising a cautious, strait-laced approach to ruling. They also frequently serve as chaplains in armies, ministering to the troops.
