Solus
Solus (a.k.a. "the Lightbringer")
"Seeing their new life freezing on the cold earth, the entities that would become the first gods wept. One amongst them, the eldest and bravest became determined that they should survive. He ripped his divine spark asunder and from it came a burst of light and a sweeping warmth that radiated throughout the cold abyss. The light stood resolute, eternal, for it was the Sun.
Primordial humans saw this great light, and bowed down to it, worshipping the awesome power that had saved them. Their Prayers awoke something in the dying and he was reborn. Solus the Lightbringer, these humans called him. So Solus the Lightbringer he would be.
The new god then created his angels, each born from a tiny ray of the Sun's light. He commanded that they build a city for the humans, to shield them from the demons that hid in the remaining shadows."

Tenets of Faith
"Look always to the morning sun and give thanks for the sacrifice I have made. Follow its example and make sacrifices for others, that all peoples may be bettered by goodwill and comradery.
Guard always those young at their first dawns, for the young are precious and to be cherished. Protect them from evil and forgive them of their ignorance. Guide them into adulthood so they may do good unto the world.
Seek always to promote creativity and invention in others, that they might better the world around them with works of art and ingenuity. Never discourage the young in their first flawed creations.
Stand always against evil and tyranny, for it is by doing nothing, that they shall prosper. Never allow them to corrupt your morals, or break your spirit. Evil can do nothing to your soul when it is in my heart.
Though the night may be long and terrible, the Sun rises again and so shall you. Dawn comes, and with it, your renewal.
Holidays
His most important Holidays are the summer and winter solstices, during which his followers hold special rituals.
The summer solstice is a day of rejoicing and celebration from dawn to dusk, his people thanking him for the longest day of the year and using it to their full advantage. In the city of Sommergard this event is extravagant to the extreme. Outsiders would be forgiven for thinking a riot was taking place at noon.
The Winter Solstice is a much more somber affair, based around giving thanks to others, and to Solus for giving them what little light he could in spite of the cold winter.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Solus stands forever against the evils that threaten the land. Particularly demons, and followers of evil gods such as Eygon, Vestrus, and Asier, who each took their divine spark from the dead god Nox, who was during his reign, Solus' most hated enemy.
He also promotes doing good in the land, and actively works to protect those who do so.
