Banuja

Banuja is a legendary figure from the Age of Creation that is worshipped in some parts of Tellandria as a saint of nature, creation, Vivomancy, and as the patron saint of some Beastfolk. According to the oft-told story of the Grove of Banuja, Banuja was an archdruid responsible for first giving many Beastfolk sentience.

Aliases

It is theorized by some theologians and scholars that Banuja and Berudi are related figures (if not one in the same), given the similarities in their names, ideals, deeds, and attributed powers. On her own, Banuja is sometimes referred to with the title "Mother of Beasts."

Divine Domains

Banuja is most often regarded as a saint of nature, creation, and the life magic of Vivomancy. However, she is sometimes also connected to the domains of sanctuary, wilderness, fertility, community, change, lineage, and parenting.
