Bog Downs
Bog Downs is one of the largest permanent settlements found in the Ashfen Rend. It is located near the Southern end of the Ashfen Rend, just north of Finmarfa.
Demographics
Bog Downs is populated by an eclectic group of outcasts, dissidents, deserters, and societal rejects that have sought privacy, secrecy, and independence that the Ashfen Rend can provide. The majority of the Fenfolk who call Bog Downs home come from Drak Tei, Leostria, Jhatur, or Karstrana, though travelers from other parts of Tellandria have found themselves permanent residents of Bog Downs as well.
Government
Bog Downs has no true government, and the Fenfolk like it that way. Anytime that major decisions must be made in the community, the decisions are either made through consensus or by consulting Murky Ida Mirepaddler, the strange eldritch creature that claims ownership over the Ashfen Rend.
