Book II | Chapter I | Missing Persons Report

General Summary

On the 11th of Newgrowth, the adventurers Silas , Cass, Jack Morning, Tourmaline, and Verst gathered in downtown Sorewood to speak with Alonzo Méndez at the behest of Ferros Sloweye. The party traveled to the Sorewood Kirk under the watchful eye of Onevia Limbtwister, and spoke with Alonzo about an issue at the Duneside Logging Camp just outside of town. 

Alonzo shared that workers at the logging camp had been going missing, and that the owners of the camp, Fenwarren Timber, had done very little to look into these disappearances. The party agreed to look into it, and find out what was behind the missing persons before Fenwarren Timber and the Rich Banks Commission send in additional muscle to bolster their operations. 

The party traveled to the logging camp, gave the Foreman false names, and traveled into the logging camp to investigate. On the first night, the party had a confrontation just outside the Glassmere Thicket concerning secrets and hidden information, that ended with the party splitting. Silas and Tourmaline traveled into the woods seeking answers; Cass, Verst, and Jack returned to the camp.
