Currency
Over the course of thousands of years of trading, cultural intermixing, and colonization, the various nations of Tellandria have collectively adopted the use of five main currency types, all of which take the form of metal coins. The different nations of Tellandria mint their own versions of these currencies, but coinage of the same variety is generally accepted in each nation (A gold piece minted by the Jhaturian Sultanate is equivalent to a gold piece minted by the Iron Dominion, and both are interchangeable.
As the Iron Dominion has continued expanding across the Faylen Continent, they have begun experimenting with creating bank notes that can be used as an alternative to metal coinage. These bank notes are created through a very secretive process, and seem to be made with linen and a magically imbued ink.
