Herald of Idlehill
In the early years of settlement in Chapel Valley, A group of settlers making their way along the Settler's Highway from Beacon became lost in the darkness brought on by First Shadowfall. As they tried to rediscover the road, the settlers spotted a spectral, glowing bird flying above them, heading in an eastward direction. Believing the bird to be a good omen, the settler's followed the bird's flight, and were lead to a sheltered alcove beneath the Hollow Hills. The settler's chose to make this alcove their new home, founding the settlement of Idlehill.
Over time, the settler's came to believe that the bird was an aspect of Luumis, the Dawn Herald. As a result, worship of Luumis became incredibly important in the town of Idlehill; the largest temple to the Heralds of Luumis in Chapel Valley is located in the settlement.
