Jon Pierce Duckets (a.k.a. JP)
A wealthy Zephyrean, with a penchant for the finer things in life. He is brazenly pro-business in his legislative endeavors, and truly enjoys a good cigar.
JP is an ambitious man, who never fails to grab an opportunity with both hands. He has taken the wealth given to him by his immensely rich groundling family, and leveraged it into a vast real estate empire. He is the single biggest landowner on the entire continent of Pax, and that includes the High King and The High King's Seat...put together. It is all controlled through shell companies registered in various cities and towns across the lands, and the organization now runs itself. JP got himself elected to the Cloud Nine Cabinet in order to reduce the strict regulation of commerce between the ground and the sky. It would essentailly change the way of life for every Zephyrean...for the better, according to JP. But there are those who disagree, vehemently, and believe JP is simply greedy, and willing to inflict his dreams on everyone in his way.

Personal history
JP started rich, and has only gotten richer...and he did that by stepping on the heads, fingers, and toes of anyone in his way. He eventually learned of the Zephyrean Islands, via a careless trader one day1, and took the oath of secrecy in order to trade with, and live upon, the flying islands.

JP is very private about his sex life, and his partners.
