The charismatic leader of a Taishan cult calling itself the One True Church, these fanatics worship their god, Gàbba Gàol, at temple compounds far out in the Rhegev Desert. They believe their lord and savior, an ancient and powerful efreeti named Gàbba Gàol, will protect them and keep their immortal souls from harm...but only if they follow a strict set of dogmatic practices that are laid out in their holy book, The Book of Gàol. The rules are many, proscribing what to wear on one's head and body, appropriate colors for the different sexes, and how to accessorize to properly display unwavering devotion to their cause and culture, for example. They are told what they can and cannot eat and drink, when to make merry and when to take up the yoke.
Pòsta mandates that members turn over a large protion of their pay, as well as their current life savings. The women, whether they are married or not, must have sex with Pòsta at his disposal and at his pleasure; her husband has no recourse and indeed should be honored to have his wife chosen by His Prophet and Mouthpiece. The cult also, for example, follows a rule called prenuptix, wherein Pòsta has the right of the first night with any bride in the entire organization. The husbands are forbidden from mentioning it, and are required to raise Pòsta's inevitable bastard children as their own.
Pòsta's wife, Lillith, has no choice but to be okay with all of this, and she does her very best to show support for her husband. The pressures of being His Prophet and Mouthpiece are unmitigated and deep, or so Pòsta keeps telling her, and the raised pressure of shepharding their flock causes him no end of consternation.
