The One True Church
The One True Church would have you believe they are the last of the great Spiritual Revelations. They teach love, and kindness, and generosity to a fault, to one another. They believe the only real way to spirituality is through helping other people, and that altruistic sacrifice is the most noble of concepts. They are ideologues of the highest order, believing wholly in their Holy Book, which was (in fact) dictated to them by their Lord and Savior, Gàbba Gàol. They share their water with the random stranger that shows up at their compound needing shelter, as is customary in the Desert, and will feed guests for up to a week free of any charge or need for work. They only ask that their guests endure a half hour sermon about the love and compassion of their mighty-yet-gentle patron, the Divine Gàbba Gàol.
His Divine Visage graces all of the common areas of the One True Church's compound, generally in the form of an engraving on steel. The buildings and courtyards are all adobe, reinforced with timber brought in from east of the Landzide Range. The windows and door frames are hearts-of-palm trimmed with purple heart; the windows themselves are a lattice of quarter-inch strips of hearts-of-palm. There are no decorations, other than objects created of steel and etched with acid. The few paintings and other pieces of art that have been approved by the cult's leader, Pòsta Fòzuul, are all quite nuetral depictions of still life, or desert scenes, as art has the capacity to breed wonton whimsy.
The OTC revel in sharing their lives of plenty, for eight days. Once that time has passed, their Holy Book The Book of Gàol demands they kill and eat the trespassers, with a basil and cream sauce, served over slighlty burnt rice pilaf.
Structure
Pòsta Fòzuul is the leader, advise closely by Favvà Cannòllini. They have a council of elders who disseminate their wishes amongst the congregation, and preach to their flock of an evening's bonfire, burning some heretic who dared to question their authority.
Culture
They are strict isolationists, having a special group of people trained in dealing with the "outside world". They wear nuetral colors, using plain cloth much of the time when they go out amongst the heathen to preach. They place great stock in recruiting new believers, as their turnaround is somewhat less than ideal, what with all the murders and self sacrifices and strange suicide rituals that Gàbba seems to revel in.
Public Agenda
To worship and bring praise to Gàbba Gàol the efreeti.
Assets
They own seven compounds out in the desert, a logging company east of the Landzide Range, and are building their very own ziggurat.
Demography and Population
They, like the population of Taisha itself, are about half human and half elf.
Territories
They are active in, and will fiercely protect, a patch of land in central Rhegev.
Military
They have no real military, but they all train to protect their lands and compounds.
Religion
Gàolism. The belief that Gàbba Gàol is the apex of divinity, holding him above all other gods.
Foreign Relations
The only real relations they have with the outside world are when they make trips to preach in desert towns and cities. They will purchase necessary goods while they are out on these proselytizations, and are surprisingly good at convincing lost souls to give up everything they own and move out into the desert with them. Pòsta Fòzuul, himself, has a real talent for drawing people to his beliefs and cause.
Laws
Absolute, unwavering, unquestioning loyalty to Pòsta, and by extension, to Gàbba Gàol.
Agriculture & Industry
They grow all their own food, and raise massive colonies of honey bees. Their only export is honey, and a honey liquor they call Cielo.
Trade & Transport
Their only export is honey, which they transport via camel-drawn Tensersled.
Education
Formal education is for uppity city folks with no self respect.
Love they neighbor, if they love Gàbba Gàol

Rhegev: Wadi Haifa: Noble Neighborhood: The Rift
A neighborhood with a large, rather famous wadi running through it diagonally. It splits the upper plateau of the city, which traditionally is the wealthier section of the city, with groomed parks and roadways swept clean of filth and detritus. The local stonework is built of granite from a mine almost forty miles away. Bright white with blue veins running through it, the stone absorbs the heat of the sun during the day, and gives off a faint glow in the same color at night.
