The Couatl Caper
Trapped within a quartz bottle below every ziggurat located inside the ancient boundaries of The Tolmec Empire is a very confused couatl. Having been turned evil by Aglethal and her sisters, the coven has been broken, and the couatl (while still evil) are starting to recover, even entrapped as they are.
The worst part of each is that they have been convinced to stay trapped within what amounts to a fever dream...a dream that becomes reality within the bottle. The Couatl on Aglethelia, Tülac Mülkas, is trapped in a Sam Spade type of kidnap story, in which he himself has been kidnapped. The only way to free him from his own mind-bent reality is to enter it and convince him, somehow, to end his own suffering.

Structure
Exposition
Whenever the bottle is broached, the person opening it and anyone within thrity feet will be teleported into the demi plane within the bottle. They will be taken immediately to Sammy's Pub and Inn, where they will meet the sad couatl in the form of Banjo Steel, Private Investigator. Banjo is stuck in a rut; investigating cheating wives and philandering husbands seems to be his only job, lately, and it has been grating on him for longer than he cares to remember.
Conflict
The party needs to figure out how to convince Malkus to search for himself. Once he discovers he is being held at The Castle, he will inform the party and give them intel, but cannot go on the mission.
The easiest way would be to hire him to start an investigation.
