While Macia bills itself as being very "open-door", the policing force in notoriously suspicious and heavy handed with anyone that does not have Sacorem citizenship. While the citizenship is easy enough to get, you are required to provide a drop of your blood when getting it, making all sorts of divination and controlling magics much easier to work on you. The policy is controversial to say the least.
