Personal history
Mothered by Odgerel Hraefnscaga, the daughter of Scribe Toddkhuslen Hraefnscaga, Nergüi was born in the desperate circumstances of a power-hungry house. His brother, Benoni, just 3 or 4, had grown sick in tender youth and raised concerns as to his longevity as a candidate for the Crown. As a last resort, the obedient Odgerel also swore herself to Lester Sylvek Stormheart. This union produced the youngest and last of the Panthora Majora: Corvin Hraefnscaga Stormheart, perhaps the most devastating force both in the court and on the battlefield that Stormfell has seen in decades.
Right from infancy, Corvin had the astounding ability to sense the presence of mystical forces nearby. Through an early youth by his brother Benoni's side and extensive studies from childhood, he developed a great affinity for magic. Though the details are undisclosed as the House of Hraefnscaga withdrew from the public eye, rumors were adrift about the second raven-dark horse emerging from the Blackbird Forest.
What he endured at his childhood home can only be put up to speculation. Benoni then, still the apple of the open world's eye, was fiercely protective of him and his privacy. Opinions and thoughts were changing inside the House, however, and news stopped rather abruptly of the two princes when it was announced that the miscarried Yacoub prince died in the womb. Whispers grew louder and eyes turned.
At last, the gates to the closed garden opened. Just 8 years old, the well-dressed, well-spoken prince emerged from the shadows of the Forest with his collar high and chin low. Armed with magic, the love of a god, an unflinching charm, and eyes that curve softly and cut like razors, he smiled into the world which cowered before him.
