Kolas

The City of Kolas is one of the larger cities of Tempricida. It's primary cult rule is to The Goddess of Refugees, Kol. Said to have been a safe refuge for it's original inhabitants fleeing the dangerous woods nearby.
Kolas is accepting of all the religions in Tempricida legally, however, tensions have been rising lately with many feeling that those who worship other Gods have had trouble adjusting to life in Kolas, given they reject the Goddess "kind" enough to offer them another start.
Kolas has a long history of spreading the word of Kol to other cults in an attempt to "save" them from their more "barbaric" tendancies. A recent case being the village of Miltri where the majority rule was the Cult of The Wounded. Kolas also frequently offers it's doors and support to those within Tempricida who have been forced from their old settlements due to natural disaster or fighting between cults. Due to this history, Kolas has a large, multicultural society.
Due to the worship of Kol, symbols regarding the heart are particularly common sights within Kolas and Lovers Day, a minor holiday in most parts of Tempricida, is a bigger deal. Red Sky Days are viewed as a reminder of the dangers and casualties that Kol seeks to protect her followers from.
