The Town of Two

A small, friendly enough town in spite of their worship to the God of Suffering, the few who find themselves in this village find a happy, loving community upon the mountain. Small but close knit and wearing protective gloves for an unknown reason.
Very few visitors think to ask about the cave and temples within the town.
If they did, they would discover the reason for the town's blessed exterior, the Wretched Obulation, commonly a child, chosen to spend their life suffering for the village.
