Okay, so Auren is severely underdeveloped in comparison to the other mc's so im gonna go on a little brain dump so i can scavenge good bits from it later auren could have an isolation arc, same as the other two, focused on pushing people away for fear of hurting them, and for fear of them getting stolen away. They have a tendency to shut down when things don't go as planned or they get scared. Being unable to talk or move.
proactive, curious, introvert, . Fear tends to keep them in place, away from things they want. They are very sheltered and therefore do not know much outside of their lumin studies. Real world parallels for their eye condition would be ophthamoplegia or just facial paralysis of the eye causing double vision or blurriness or very bad depth perception. In aurens case they cant close their eyelid at all and the flowers grew out of their eye. Coping strategy: closes themself off and goes to self destruction. Stims: rocking/scared&sad ,hand flappies&leg kickies/exited&too much energy, ear twitches&flaps/self soothing/interested or curious. Want: to be alone, to get better at lumin, for things to stay the same or go back to how they used to be. Need: to experience new things, to let go of guilt and start living again. Fear: that they’ll get hurt and hurt those around them.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

As a result of an overgrowth as a child Auren has flowers and moss covering the right side of their face and growing out of their right eye. Due to some similarities in satyrs and plant people this was non fatal, but has left them with facial nerve damage, (It's pretty difficult to reaserch how plants growing out of your face might affect things, so take this with a grain of salt) difficulty chewing, difficulty moving their mouth and eyebrow, and numbness affecting their cheek.

History

The two become friends very early in the journey to revive Linma when Auren saves Riya and Night from a giant lizard that was chasing them. Auren and Riya slowly become close over the course of a year and a half. Riya develops a small crush on Auren fairly early on, around three months of knowing each other, though it doesn’t get in the way all that much. Auren on the other hand only starts to catch romantic feelings after multiple years of knowing Riya, three or four years to be precise. They only manage to admit their feelings for one another after their friend night, who they’ve both been confiding in, forces them to admit it.
