Mugharribun, Elemental-Kin

This near-human race of people has their origins in the elementals, djinn, throughout the Osmani Sultanate. Some legends to their origins say that if an Osmanian did not thank Prati before having sex, a djinn might appear and have sex with your wife in your stead. This is a lie by those who view the Mugharribun as an abominable "subversive" race of people whose sect of Iman is likewise an abomination. The true origins lie in those who simply wished to have relations with a great many Djinn, and this factor was quite common in the days following the Great Holy War when finding potential partners was difficult. Many humans lost their lives in the years following the war and many Mugharribun would be born after this.
These aspects changed as the advent of the Speakers of Asherah, Mason Black and Kautil. They spoke of the mistreatment of the Mugharribun and the future of Iman as a religion of worship toward Asherah. They called for a glorious Jihad against demons and their worshippers as the Shak and Cali declared Mugharribun and the other "subversive" species no long "subversives" so long as they believed in the cause of Asherah and the Holy Jihad. This Jihad continues onward as incursions of demons and voidlings occur throughout Osmani.
