The Dreamlands

To describe what the Dreamlands could be is to also describe a constant influx and myriad of shapes, sizes, colors, and directions all in one area. The area which this eldritch region inhabits is by some degrees similar to the Aethereal Plane, and a great many theorize that the Dreamlands is a part of the Aetherial Plane. But some surmise that the Dreamlands may be an elaborate plane created by a forgotten deity. No one is certain as to where exactly the Dreamlands lie on the planes, as some more outlandish theories have pinpointed the Dreamlands to lie between the Aetherial Plane and the Void .
The Dreamlands, in between being a constantly mutating and fluctuating realm, can also allow an individual to possibly glimpse into aspects of other realities. Many wanderers of planes speculate that within the Dreamlands lie gates to other realities that can only be accessed under certain states of slumber. These states can be acquired under possible influential substances and environments. This can include experimental potions, drugs, great waters of magical substance, and divine intervention.
Other scholars, surmise that this abnormal realm is the reason behind the large influx of concurrent in the world and where they all originate along with the Great Race of ancient history.
