Tamara
(a.k.a. Vilomah (Harlequin Rose name): Means "Against the natural order" commonly used for parents who have lost children.)
Silas' ex-wife. She chose to don the mourning veil as a way to gain information from others, but stay to herself. She seems to be respected among the people. At the Water Garden, she seems to be a VIP.
Her and Silas were expecting a child 3 years ago, but it was stillborn. This is what initiated Silas' change into the way he is today and the eventual dissolution of their marriage, and Silas' choice to join the circuit clergy.
She is part of the Harlequin Rose and informed Silas that the organization is being split into two factions, the Anarchists and the Tricksters. She does not seem to be the biggest fan of Jack Hearts and warned Silas against trusting the Trolio family.
As the group was getting ready to embark on the ship to leave for JinJaru, Tamara came up to Silas to say goodbye. She tried to encourage him to move on saying, "We made our vows before God, but that is somewhere I no longer am." then she pointed at one of the ships in the harbor (one getting ready to head to Escarra) and the ship blew up. Then she disappeared. Nobody aside from the party members saw Tamara there. When mentioning Silas's wife, nobody remembered that he was ever married. Silas went to the graveyard where their child was burried and the gravestone had Silas's name on it, not the child's without a date of death.
