Albinism is a congenital condition characterized by the partial or complete absence of pigment in the body. It causes pale white skin and hair, as well as red and pink eyes. Those who are born with the affliction often have trouble seeing, needing to wear spectacles, and burn more often under the sun. Some smallfolk believe albinism descended from Vampires, and believe Albinos drink blood. Albinos are often looked at in disdain or fear.
History
Two of Odgrub the Iceblade's children, Jehanne Iceblade and
Ulric Frostborne were albinos.
The lines of the Iceblade dynasty albinism is a more common trait passed down. Most notably in the Frostborne line.
The King of Nordheim,
David I was known to keep the company of an albino as his personal physician. Their name is not known though they are at times called
Whiteraven.
One of the sons of the Old Boar
Connyr Ullhorn , and current Lichmaster of Idenbury,
Aymar Ullhorn is an albino, as are many of his children.
